Nytt Rom No.97
NYTT ROM is a Norwegian magazine presenting Scandinavian design, architecture and living.
The homes presented in our December issue are characterized by changes made to optimize the habitants living situation, life circumstances, and life in general. Frida and her family didn't want to move, but needed more space. The solution was a home transformed into a lifelong apartment, full of clever storage solutions and furniture that can adapt to life's different phases. Architect Julien De Smedt has designed and built custom furniture for a functional everyday life with a home office and his two young sons from a portable workshop in his own apartment. We have also re-visited Andreas Tingulstad, who has adapted his apartment for his daughter Ava.
